Around 241 Students of class I presented a special assembly on Festivals of India – A Cultural Odyssey on 11th November, 2014 by exuberantly participating in the celebration, bringing glimpses of India through various tableaux depicting culture and traditions of some states.
Values inculcated in the early years build strong foundations.To enhance environmental awareness and encourage a scientific temper, students of classes VI & VIIwere motivated to organise Science Exhibitions on 29th Oct’ and 3rd Nov,2014 respectively. Students enthusiastically participated and showcased their command over scientific concepts coupled with their creativity and ability to think out of the box.
Over 300 Class IV students of DPS Sushant Lok gave a captivating performance and wowed their parents with their exuberance and talent in a presentation entitled "It’s a Beautiful World". The programme was held on Monday, the 3rd of November 2013, in the school auditorium, and was graced by the presence of Ms Anita Makkar, Principal of HDFC School, Gurgaon who presided over the function as chief guest.

Workshop of Self-defense for the Girl Students of Class VIII.Realising the need to equip students with the skill to defend themselves against miscreants, the school organized a Self Defense Program for the girl students of class VIII from 8th to 10th of October,2014,in the school premises.
On July 31, 2014, the students of the middle school, DPS Sushant Lok, put up a special assembly to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day, commemorating the birth of this South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.
Two students of DPS Sushant Lok, Ms. Kavya Ganesh and Ms. Bani Singh, are on a mission to promote the noble cause of organ donation in the city. They along with eight members of the Leader’s Club performed a street play at Fortis Memorial Research Institute on 6th August, during a conference on the Brain Stem Death and Management of Prospective Organ Donor.
The Senior Wing of Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok celebrated its Annual Investiture Ceremony on July 18, 2014, where 67 aspiring young leaders were sworn in as members of the Student Council for the session 2014-15.
On April 23, 2014, the middle school students (VI - VIII) of DPS, Sushant Lok , celebrated The World Book Day with vim and vigor in the school premises. The day was marked by a series of activities to celebrate the joy of reading and to reiterate the fact that there is no better friend than a good book.
With the idea of spreading awareness against corruption, senior secondary students of DPS, Sushant Lok performed a street play directed by Ms. Achala Rai, Dept. of Hindi on Sunday, 2 Feb, 2014 on Raahgiri Day.

In keeping with the true spirit of ‘charity begins at home and does not end there’, the students of Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok accompanied by teachers distributed blankets to the homeless and the needy on 15th January 2014.
