TANGENTIA, the Mathematics club of DPS, Sushant Lok aims at creating love for Mathematics, a subject often dreaded by students. The Club unfurls the practical utility of Mathematics in day today dealings in addition to creating interest in the subject. The club explores Maths beyond textbooks and students learn to apply the knowledge acquired inreal life situations. Students participate in a wide gamut of fun, competitive and brain storming activities like solving Mathematical Riddles, Application-Based Games, Maths-Tambola etc. Mathematical Models are conducted to elucidate difficult concepts of curriculum and sharpen the minds of children. Performance-based problems are undertaken that develop intuitive thinking skills. The Club provides the students with opportunities to develop their explorative, creative and inventive faculties and offers an ideal avenue for free exchange of Mathematical ideas.
