"Let's rejoice and celebrate the harvest festival of Baisakhi with love, peace and unity."

The students of class XD at Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok celebrated the exuberant festival of Baisakhi in the morning assembly held on April 10, 2024. The celebration was a vibrant carnival encapsulating the essence of life, community and nature's bounties. The event was a lively amalgamation of cultural performance and insightful reflections echoing the essence of unity, gratitude and the abundance of nature. The assembly  commenced with a thought-provoking address followed by a touching poem. It  encapsulated the rejuvenating spirit of spring and the significance of harvest festivities. Students adorned in traditional Punjabi attire enthralled the audience with a spirited Bhangra performance, paying homage to Punjab's rich heritage. On the other hand, A peppy and an energetic dance performance to celebrate Baisakhi was presented by students of VA during the class assembly in the primary wing which brightened up the atmosphere. The events concluded with the illuminating words of the School Vice Principal, Ms. Sarika R. Chopra who  reinforced the sense of community and celebration. The assembly highlighted the importance of embracing diversity and fostering a sense of togetherness in our lives.
