Theatre in Education

Our forward-thinking school utilizes the ever evolving and dynamic academic environment through innovative ways in making the teaching-learning process more effective and efficient. The Mask (English theatre) and Rangmanch (Hindi theatre) infuses interactive and performative moments in our young learners. Various representational involvements on stage inspire children to engage, express and enquire, which in turn adds purpose and value to their creativity. They communicate ideas effectively and become independent thinkers with a reflective mind set.

Designed to develop the essential 21st century skills of collaboration, critical thinking and communication, the theatre class is a buzz with students mimicking the techniques of voice modulation, spatial awareness and speech improvisation under the guidance of talented teachers. By developing an appreciation of theatre as a traditional art form, use of imagination, emotions and physical expression, our learners enjoy the different forms, styles, genres and breathe life into the character as visualized.

Theatre in Education is vital for well-rounded personality development. As students’ progress through the years, their experiences and exposure in school hone them to develop a wide range of theatrical skills and apply them to become creators and performers.
